Spooky season is upon us! The U District is serving up exciting events and Halloween fun all month long. Calling all movie buffs, music fans, partygoers, and hands-on crafters–check out these fantastic events and start planning your frightfully fun U District adventure!
All Monsters Attack Series at Grand Illusion Cinema
If you’re a fan of classic monster movies, the Grand Illusion Cinema has just what you need to get into the Halloween spirit! Their All Monsters Attack film series runs throughout the month of October, showcasing everything from vintage horror to cult favorites. Catch Halloween standards like Little Monsters or Young Frankenstein, and discover obscure films like Hundreds of Beavers – featuring a drunken applejack salesman who must go from zero to hero and become North America’s greatest fur trapper by defeating hundreds of beavers.
And on Halloween night, get your dose of gruesome with a special showing of Hellraiser.
Slacker University: It’s a 2000’s (Halloween) Party at The Neptune
Ready to relive the 2000s with a Halloween twist? Slacker University is throwing the ultimate 2000s-themed party on Halloween night (Thursday, October 31) at the Neptune Theatre. Dust off your skinny jeans, band tees, and neon accessories, and head to the Neptune for a Halloween celebration packed with nostalgia.
It’s Alive! Seattle’s Undead Music Scene Takes on The Neptune
It’s Alive! brings some of Seattle’s best local bands to the Neptune for an undead takeover on Saturday, October 26. Featuring performances by Linda From Work, Marshall Law Band, Waxer, and I-90 Fiasco.
