Each year, over 300 artists, makers, and food booths fill the streets of the U District to participate in America’s longest-running street fair. Join this 55-year tradition that attracts over 90,000 people to shop handcrafted goods, nosh on international food, and enjoy lively performances across two days of fun!

Types of Vendors

Review the list below to determine which vendor category matches your business.

Artists & Makers

Do you craft, produce, or design everything that you sell? Then this is the category for you. This includes original handmade or designed art or goods created by you or your team- not resold items. 

Examples: Pottery, paintings, jewelry, soap, candles, handmade furniture, upcycled goods and woven goods. This category welcomes artists who have their artwork and designs printed on cards or clothing. This category also welcomes face painters, henna artists & caricature artists.

Curated Goods

Do you curate an amazing collection of items, some of which have been imported or crafted, produced, or designed by other people? Do you sell antiques, vintage items, books or plants? This category is for you. 

Examples: Curated art from multiple artists, vintage clothing, books, resold items, plants, antiques, records. This category also welcomes manufactured products, goods that are not hand made by the seller or are being resold.

Artisan Packaged Food Booth

These vendors hold a license from the Department of Agriculture and will be required to supply a certificate of insurance. Vendors who have jams, spices, hot sauce, nut butters, baked goods (in packaging) all fall in this category.

Prepared Food Market Booth or Food Truck

Do you sell hot or ready-to-eat food or drinks? This category is for you. All vendors in this category will need to have a permit from the Department of Health.

Commercial Exhibitors

Limited space is available for sponsors and commercial products or services.

Nonprofit Groups

We hold limited spaces for the nonprofits serving the U District Neighborhood. You must be a 501c3 organization.  If you plan to sell goods you must register in the category you are selling good in.

U District Neighborhood Business

This category is only for businesses located within the footprint of the event. Must have a physical location along University Way between 50th St. and 42nd St. in the U-District.
